BLS  for Healthcare Providers

PARTICIPANTS:  Designed for those working in ANY HEALTHCARE FIELD and most often is a job requirement.  Physicians, PAs, NPs, Medical Residents, Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Paramedics, EMTs, Dentists, Hygienists, Dental Assistants, Therapists, Social Workers, Occupational, Physical, Speech, and Respiratory Therapists, Dieticians, Students in Medical Fields.

 A medical position job is not a requirement for this class.

• CPR: Adult, Child, Infant techniques, 1 & 2 person
• FOREIGN BODY AIRWAY OBSTRUCTION  (CHOKING), conscious and unconscious
• RESCUE BREATHING: Adult, Child and Infant techniques
• AED: Practice with an AED (automated external defibrillator)
• ONE WAY VALVE MASKS: Discussion and practice 
• BAG VALVE MASK PRACTICE
• COURSE COMPLETION CARDS: American Heart Association course completion card - Valid for 2 years
• Estimated Time: 3 hours. Continuing education contact hours will be provided 

• Classes may be arranged at your location.
• Weekly classes are available in Apple Valley for individuals not part of a larger group. 1–2 classes are available/week. 
• 1:1 Skills Sessions after completion of the AHA online course is an additional option set up to your individualized scheduled preference.
